The Artist I recently checked out the latest CD from Boston based My Silent Bravery entitled Can't Quit. This project is headed up by Singer/Songwriter Matthew Wade.  This latest effort was released in 2011 and showcases Wade on guitar and vocals with an experienced team of top flight musicians backing him up.

The band Line-up includes Wade mainly on guitar, vocals and premier songwriter. I would say he possesses above average to advanced alternative rock playing and singing abilities, and elite writing skills. You will find a musical personality that is rich with hooky and marketable rock that sticks with you long after the CD is over. Timing is spot on within this genera and musical grooves. Wade can hold his own on the guitar and vocals, but more importantly he delivers music that is highly entertaining, catchy, marketable and passionate. The strongest aspect of the production is the polished crystal clean sound quality and amazing musical touches by Wade. The music possesses straight forward modern Alternative Rock and could even be classified as Pop-Rock or even Singer-Songwriter. All in all great music to get your head wrapped around. Will remind you of classic Fuel, Collective Soul, and Dishwalla. The songs Simply put - deep music with thought provoking lyrical content. I kept waiting for a weak song to come down the pike - I eventually gave up on that. The vibe Overall very upbeat, progressive, with amazing stories that possess incredible highs and lows. The CD has its shares of  truthful moments. Simply put - very much like life itself this CD personifies life experience, with music that are 100% honest, pure and genuine. The music is straight from the heart an offers no attempt to sugarcoat the truth. The production is professional grade from start to finish. I might add the overall production value is better than his last effort. It would seem he's upgraded his sound to a gold standard with Can't Quit. There's not many songs you can listen to time and time again. Has a crisp and clean production aftertaste to it. The good Crystal clear recording quality. Solid production value, entertaining music, and rock solid songs. The bad CD tends to be a bit repetitive track to track. The whole CD sounds like one long song. The ugly Nothing to report.

The verdict Cant Quit from My Silent Bravery featuring Matthew Wade has everything from good chops, fancy sampling, entertaining songs, heart felt vocals and music that covers allot of bases Rock, Alternative Rock. to even Power Pop to straight-up Rock. For the record this music is a movie soundtrack waiting to happen. The Bottom Line WARNING - Listening to this music will open you eyes to the possibilities of what could be.
