The Artist I recently checked out the latest self-titled release from Country-Rock band Diamond Hitch released in 2011. This is their debut self titled release. Diamond Hitch hails from all places - Nashville Tennessee so as to be expected this band must represent the highest standards of Country Music.

The band I would say this 5 piece band possesses intermediate playing and writing abilities. Both Kuppens and Boyd share the microphone and all members are solid players and singers within the genera. You will find many heartfelt vocals and vocal harmonies along the way. Timing is spot on within this genera. More importantly Diamond Hitch just let's it all hang out - holding nothing back. The music possesses a classic Country-Rock type stigma. All in all great music to eat a Sunday morning brunch to. Definitely classic Americana feel that that is timeless and at times very emotional. The band possess a unique signature sound that is a impressive hybrid between Rock and Modern Country music. The songs Simply put - all songs are consistent musical experiences. The vibe Overall very upbeat, positive, with amazing vibe. I get the impression these guys are having allot of fun with it - and it shows. The production is professional grade from start to finish. Has a timeless feel to it. which is not an easy thing to achieve. Overall this CD is very marketable and likeable. The good Honorable mentions go out to Boyd on vocals and guitar. He is clearly the marquee talent within this band. The bad having said that Diamond Hitch should consider going with a 4 piece line-up, or overhauling their sound a bit by sticking Boyd front and center. He is clearly the most marketable thing about this band. He's got the look, the charisma, the voice and yes the goods that will make many Tennessee females go crazy. Though I like his counterpart on vocals I did detect a few pitch issues along the way with respect to his voice. A vocal coach would no doubt clear this up thus putting that issue above the bar. Again I will add the bar is set very high for any Country Music Artist from says he's from The Music City - especially a vocalist. The ugly Nothing to report

The verdict Diamond Hitch has everything: solid playing, fancy picking, fun songs, well placed harmonies and a marketable approach and sound. The music is just fun to listen to with amazing highs a a few serious lows. Like life itself this CD personifies the human experience and will have you coming back for more. The Bottom Line This debut statement from Diamond Hitch is a good start to something that could get you a "Get out of Burnet County Jail" free card.
